Project Description
This project assists Eastern Partner governments in enhancing institutional frameworks, particularly for SMEs. It involves supporting the development of SME strategies, implementing monitoring systems, and fostering public-private dialogue to inform policymaking and monitor reform progress. This phase emphasizes the digitalization of SMEs as a priority.
Project Objectives
The main objective is to assess reform progress, identify country-specific SME policy priorities, and evaluate policies promoting SME digitalization within the Eastern Partnership. This assessment will cover areas like regulatory environments, financing constraints, and programs for digital skills uptake, aiming to accelerate SME digital transformation in alignment with EU and OECD standards while outlining ongoing support activities.
